My name is Stevie McCauliff and I was involved in a car accident in the summer of 2011, which is what my traumatic brain injury is caused from. I was hit by a tractor trailor truck on my way to school at UConn. I had to have brain surgery, was paralyzed on my right side, could not walk, or talk, etc. I had to relearn all of these things and more. I go to UConn still, and I am in my second senior year! I am enjoying every little bit of what life has to offer, and that is why I am very excited for this event with BIAC! :) All the support and fundraising is for a great cause to bring awareness to brain injuries!
