Hello Everyone!  Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  It's that time of year again when I get to say.....Shrinkage!  It's the 5th Annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. 

For those of you not familiar with the Polar Plunge, it entails forming a team and jumping in Brown's Lake near Salix, Ia.  This year will be the 5th annual time my brother Troy has formed a team and with your support helped us successfully raise money for Special Olympics.

Ironically, this years Plunge is a few weeks earlier than in the past and it falls on Halloween day.  Therefore, with my nephew's name being Mitch, we've chosen the team name this year to be "Mitch's Witch's."  With an exception of last year, we've dressed as women every year.......I know the thought scares me also.  But, we have a good time and we raise a lot of money for a great cause.  Not only does it provide assistance for Mitch, but it supports all Special Olympians across the state of Iowa.
