WORTHY WOMEN RECOVERY HOME INC

Worthy Women Recovery Home

Worthy Women Recovery Home

WWRH Inc. is a Christian home that provides recently incarcerated women with re-entry programs and the tools necessary to reduce recidivism rates, substance abuse and addictions, and to empower them to live as positive role models for their children and in their community.

Here is a recent example of WHY Worthy Women Recovery Home needs funding to move forward and get our doors open.

From WWRH President  "My heart aches as I just found out that one of my ladies from Jail bible study, Overdosed 3 weeks  ago, leaving 3 children behind(one already drinking herself at age 16).  Once they leave incarceration they forget the misery and pain,  forget about Jesus, get   weak, and the cycle starts all over again.  The stories are real, the children DO suffer the most.  "

I am participating in WWRH Annual Bowl-A-Thon on April 17th and am looking for sponsors!  Even if you can sponsor me for $1.00 or $5.00 those dollars will add up to make a difference in this important mission.

Do you know the cost of incarceration?  In Indiana the costs are as follows:

PRISON/JAIL COSTS

$72.52 per day, per female in an adult facility with programs/intervention
$48.52 per day, per female in an adult facility without programs
$52 per day, per male in an adult facility
$148 per day, per child in a juvenile center
$47per day at IDOC re-entry center

It only costs $20 per day to fund one female in a recovery home* with MRT® programs.

Please consider sponsoring me for the bowling tournament!  Your donation is tax deductible and I'd appreciate your support!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
