Hello, animal lovers,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast, and totally secure.
Once again, it's time for the Humane Society's WalktoberFest. This year I will be participating in honor of Tess (a little Basenji with a big personality) who passed away recently. And I will be thinking of Bitsy, of course, who is always with me in spirit.
I hope you will support me. Know that every cent you donate stays in Nashua (and the surrounding towns under the Nashua Humane Society's jurisdiction). Nothing goes to any national organization. The need this year is more critical than ever. I say this every year and every year, it's true. With continuing economic instability, families find it necessary to surrender their pets in ever higher numbers.
The Walk is Saturday, October 1, 2011 and I will happily accept your donation any time before the day of the walk.
See below for more information on the WalktoberFest and the Humane Society. And, as always, thank you for your support.
Sue

WalktoberFest 2011 Information
==========================
Who: Humane Society for Greater Nashua
http://www.hsfn.org
Where: Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Merrimack, NH
When: Saturday, October 3, 2009
9:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.
Dogs are welcome all day.
FEATURING: pet-friendly vendors, an exciting demo by the New England Disc Dog Association, dog games and contests, a kids zone full of fun activities, entertainment, raffles, food, beer and more!
Why:
Each year the Humane Society cares for thousands of animals. It provides shelter, food, medical care and lots of love. All adoptable animals are kept until they are adopted. There is NO time limit at the shelter. The staff and volunteers are dedicated but without your help, their job would be impossible.
Many people see the WalktoberFest as a dog event but the shelter needs support from cat lovers, too! The shelter cares for 4 times as many cats as dogs. Proceeds support a lot of kitties and rabbits and ferrets and birds, too.
