RBARI and the great work done there by staff and volunteers are very important to me. From the first time I stepped into the shelter, I fell in love immediately with the place. You will too when you visit. Do stop by! And be sure to check out all the news from there at http://www.rbari.org
I have to tell you a great RBARI story. When RBARI takes an animal into their care, they make an open-ended commitment to shelter, feed, give medical treatment to, and love that dog or cat until it finds a forever home. They're "no kill" - they don't kill an animal to make space for another. In January, they found a forever home for Necessity, a cat who had been at the shelter for NINE years! Now, that's commitment! I hope you'll support that commitment to care for formerly homeless, abused, or abandoned cats and dogs.
As one of the organizers of the Mutts Marathon, I also invite you to come and join in the fun on Oct. 10. It should be a great day. For more info, go to http://www.MuttsMarathon.com
Thanks in advance for your contribution. The animals will appreciate it.
