Bird-a-thon may be over for another year - but it's not too late to support South Shore Sanctuaries. We had 8 teams birding across Plymouth County - saw a total of 166 species including Yellow-breasted Chat, Bald Eagle, and Upland Sandpiper. The wind along the coast was a bit tough, the the balmy day was a nice change from past years. If you would like to learn more about our sightings, please contact me.
Mass Audubon on the South Shore: protects over 2,000 acres of land on the South Shore; monitors piping plovers and least terns on 8 South Shore beaches; and offers programs to over 2,500 people each year.
Our feathered friends in Massachusetts depend on you to provide funding to conserve the habitat they need for their nests and to help educate their human neighbors as well. I appreciate your generosity and support and hope you will make a donation to my page!
