Hopper has developed a medical condition (see below) that requires regular examinations, medication, and a carefully monitored diet.  We hope that you will consider helping with his medical expenses.

A little information about this most handsome dog:

Sweet Hopper has been at FOHA for a very long time.  He is the most amazing dog you could ever imagine.  Hopper is a friendly and affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. He loves to go for walks.  He also loves to have you throw his toys so he can bring it back to you so you can throw it again. When you are done throwing the toy, he loves to sit beside/on you on the couch and cuddle.
 

Hopper has many loyal friends at FOHA including Wendy, Carol, and Rae.  Hopper's favorite time at FOHA is probably at the end of each Saturday after all the other dogs have been walked.  Because then he gets to come into the adoption office to play.  Hopper first goes to the toy bin to pick out a toy.  Then game on!!  He loves when you hold his toy and he can pull you around the office on the wheeled chairs.  Then it's a game of keep away.  Stopping occasionally to get some loving.  What a magic time it is for Hopper and his friends.

Unfortunately, Hopper was diagnosed with a medical disorder called lymphangiectasia. He is fine as long as he is fed a special food and takes medication. We would love to find Hopper a forever home OR foster home with someone to take care of him and make sure he gets the medication and special food he needs.
