Hello Everyone!
My name is Sumita Dalmia and I am serving as the Director of Professional Development for NetIP Atlanta (Network of Indian Professionals) -- www.netip.org
This year, we are working with several chapters across the US to raise money for charity as part of our Charity is Colorblind initiative.
How far has your education gotten you? How has your ability to learn and work together helped you in your career?
Unfortunately, for many people, education is not a readily available option. Many have to start working early to support their families.
And while many people (including my parents at times) are skeptical about donating money to charity, let me assure you this one is 100% authentic. Many people wonder how much of the $$ actually reaches the beneficiary but when you have someone that quits their job, goes to India and makes personal trips to help set up schools, you know it's a work of passion.

Baal Dan is a U.S. based nonprofit that raises money to help street children, orphans, and the organizations that help impoverished children ( e.g.
orphanages,
schools,
shelters,
etc.),
the
charity
raises
money
to
buy
things
in
bulk
that
children
can
use
immediately
like
food,
clothing,
medicines
and
books.
Since
2006,
when
the
charity
was
founded,
more
than
1,500
children
in
India
have
received
aid
from
Baal
Dan.
Baal
Dan
is
focused
on
providing
aid
in
the
most
simple,
direct,
efficient
and
transparent
way
possible.
In
India
there
are
already
many
orphanages
and
projects
that
are
providing
excellent
care
for
children
in
need. However,
they
are
often
under-funded,
under-staffed
and
have
low
awareness
or
local
support. Baal
Dan
seeks
to
fill
the
gaps
in
aid
for
these
children
by
providing
necessities
like
food,
clothing,
blankets
and
medicines
to
help
increase
the
quality
of
life
for
impoverished
children. In
addition,
the
charity
raises
money
to
fund
school
fees
for
impoverished
children
to
help
break
the
cycle
of
poverty
through
quality
education.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Remember $1 = 45 rupees which enough to buy a meal, a book, or a toy for one child!!!
Thank you for supporting our chapter and this wonderful non-profit! "Protect our Children, Protect our Future"!
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
