Being diagnosed with melanoma was a huge eye opening experience. If I was not in the right place at the right time or have been educated about the ABCD’s of Melanoma I may not have survived it to tell my story. I was diagnosed when I was 24-year-old after spotting a lesion on the back of my right leg. It has been a year and 3 months since my diagnosis. I feel extremely lucky to be alive and healthy. I am disease free having caught my melanoma in time. Since then it has been my passion to educate everyone on the ABCD’s of melanoma and the most common location for men being their back and for women the back of their legs. It has also been my goal to educate the younger generation about the dangers of tanning beds and sun burns. Please consider donating and participating in this amazing event.
