Hi this is Mike,

My family and I have been involved with the Flower City Down Syndrome Nretwork since it first started.  I have just turned 22! 

I am out of school now and for the last year have been going to a Day Hab program through Heritage Christian Services.  I do drum circles and other music programs.  Sometimes we travel to other day habs and do our drum circles.  I really enjoy that.  We also spend time at Springdale farm and the Life Center (where I do more music).  The picture is me working at the FCDSN's annual Auction dinner. 

The FCDSN is a local organization that provides support to many, many families just like mine who have children with Down syndrome.  There are social groups (I belong to the one for adults), parties (we went to Seabreeze again this year...my favorite thing to do there is the wave pool), conferences and tons of support for each other.

This organization is 100% self supporting and can only run the programs it does through the donations from generous people like you. Donating through is website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
