My family and I will be walking with over 1000 other people on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the 14th annual Flower City Down Syndrome Network Buddy Walk.

This is a great family fun day but it's also the major fund raiser for this local affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Socity.  This organization provides education, networking, and support for families, like mine, who have a member with Down syndrome - like me!

The FCDSN supports social programs, have conferences, support a newsletter and website, send families to local and national conferences, and encourage kids and adults with Down syndrome to participate in local recreational activities.  I take a music class and swimming lessons.
