Dear Friends:

My wonderful brother-in-law, Richard Ashford, was diagnosed with HD about four years ago. Huntington's Disease is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. HD slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, talk and reason.

My sister Carol, has received helpful counseling and is part of a Huntington's support group which helps her cope at this critical time for her family. Carol & Richard have two sons, Geoffrey, 14 and Grant, 16.

I will be walking with my family in New York City to raise funds to support the Huntington's Society. I appreciate your help with a donation in any amount.
