Hi Family & Friends,

For the past several years our extended family fund raising team has supported the Alzheimer's Association. Last year, thanks to your continuing generosity, we raised over $18,500. This year our focus has shifted to the Huntington's Disease Society.

My brother-in-law, Richard Ashford, was diagnosed with HD about four years ago and the disease is taking a devastating toll on the family. Huntington's Disease is a neurological disorder in which the patient faces progressive loss of control over bodily functions to the point of complete reliance on the caregiver to sustain life

My sister Carol, has received helpful counseling and is part of a Huntington's support group which helps her cope at this critical time for her family. Carol & Richard have two sons, Geoffrey, 13 and Grant, 15.

I will be walking with my sisters in New York City to raise funds to support the Huntington's Society. I appreciate your help with a donation in any amount. Thank you for your support.
