Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the upcoming September 30th Walk for Farm Animals. 

Farm Sanctuary is a place of compassion and kindness, where rescued farm animals can find a new life.  Even avid carnivores feel sympathy when they hear stories about courageous farm animals who manage to leap off slaughter trucks and bolt for freedom.  These animals deserve to escape their fate, and Farm Sanctuary is there for them.

 More than 600,000 animals are killed every hour in the US for human consumption.  The vast majority of these animals are raised on cruel factory farms with virtually no laws to protect them.  Also, meat production on this massive scale has serious environmental consequences, including rainforest destruction, water pollution, and children starving in third world countries where farmland is used for exports.

I'm asking you to support me on this walk with just a few dollars.  I'm really not looking for any big money here.  It's just nice to know that the people that I care about are supporting me.
