My name is Susan Lynch and I will be running in this year’s Chicago Distance Classic half marathon for the Caring for Carcinoid  Foundation (CFCF). Your kind support will fund much needed research for carcinoid and related neuroendocine tumors. Carcinoid cancer is the term used to refer to tumors that originate in the nerve cells that produce hormones, also known as the neuroendocrine system. CFCF is the leading nonprofit dedicated to discovering a cure for carcinoid cancer.

I will be running in honor of Eva Donoghue, who has been bravely fighting carcinoid cancer since 2006.  Eva and her "E" team have raised nearly $14,000 to fund carcinoid research, and our support will help them in their mission of caring....giving....fighting for a cure!

CFCF is unique in that 100% of all donations directly support carcinoid and related neuroendocrine tumors research and are tax-deductible.
