Dear Friends,

As a new supporter of Pine Street Inn, I am writing to ask for your help in supporting a wonderful effort to create blankets and raise funds for this very successful organization, helping the homeless in Boston.

I will be participating Sunday, November 8th in the third annual Knit-A-Thon, to help knit and assemble blankets for Pine Street Inn's housing program. 

Pine Street Inn continues to assist homeless individuals transition into permanent supportive housing. In order to accomplish this important transition, there is an immediate need to raise funds to outfit each unit with furniture and housewares.

The opportunity to make such an indelible mark on the lives of these individuals is an amazing one, and we hope you are as inspired as I am to help these men and women make a smooth transition into a safe and comfortable place they can call home.

I hope to help raise enough money ($250.00) to purchase a twin bed and box spring, and that is where your generosity will be invaluable. Please consider making a donation at whatever level is possible for you. Below is a list detailing how your donation can help:

What Your Donation Will Provide:

$1,500 fully furnishes one unit
$500 provides a dining room table, chairs and sofa
$250 buys a twin mattress and box spring
$100 provides bedroom accessories, such as sheets, comforter, alarm clock, lamp
$50 outfits an entire bathroom
$25 helps provide bathroom or kitchen accessories
