For those of you who don't know what Lupus is, it is a chronic, autoimmune disorder which causes the body to attack itself causing inflammation in the body's organs. Like many other diseases there are different levels of Lupus; unfortuantely I suffer from severe Lupus.  It affects my lungs, intestines, eyes, kidneys, joints and has affected my brain.  During the past two years I have been hospitalized on countless occasions, I have been fed artifically for months, I have been forced to use a wheelchair to go anywhere, and I have been septic on a number of times. I am on my last treatment option at this time, which is receiving chemotherapy every month.  There is hope for a new drug in the future that will fight the disease itself rather than just treat its symptoms; however, we need money to get that drug approved.  My only hope to live a normal productive life without being on countless medications and wondering  what each day will bring is for this new medication to be approved.  Thus, I am basically begging for donations to help save my life.
