In lieu of flowers, Ed requested that donations be made in support of pancreatic cancer research.  The family appreciates your contributions to this important and underfunded effort. 

Ed was a trusted husband, a loving father, a caring brother and a loyal friend.  He loved life and learning how things worked.  His struggle against cancer was private, but courageous.  Surrounded by his family, he died peacefully on Christmas morning 2008 at his home in Houston, Texas.
