As you all may know my family has been directly affected by Huntington's disease. My husband Bill has been suffering from this rare disease for the past several years and his world has become smaller and smaller as the years pass.  He is no longer able to work or drive so he is completely dependent on family and friends. Communication has become very difficult for him, as his speech has become very slurred.  He is still able to take his daily walks, but balance and movements are very pronounced.  As you can imagine watching the progression of Huntington's has been very difficult for myself and our family.  We can only hope and pray  that with fundraisers and research there will someday soon be treatments and a cure for future generations.
