Social Development Centre is a home for 13 orphaned or "half orpaned" children.  They have all come from a life of suffering, hunger and poverty and have lost either both parents or one parent, leaving the other parent incapable of caring for him or her.  We give the children a safe, secure HOME, nutritious food, clothing and an education.  Our aim is to raise these children to be healthy, independant, skilled adults who can support themselves and their future families.  We see this as the path for a better Nepal - educate the children to give the country a future.
