Kaden was born in Westchester NY, on April 8th and had his first open heart surgery 5 days later, on April 13th.   Korey and I were able to stay at the Ronald McDonald Family Room which was located on the 3rd floor of the Maria Ferari Children's Hospital, we were only 1 floor away from where Kaden was recovering from surgery, this couldn't have been more convenient, or more comfortable.  The day of Kaden's surgery, we were allowed to have family join us in the Ronald McDonald Family Room living area, which gave us a warm friendly atmosphere to stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible. 

The Ronald McDonald Family Room were SO good to us, they are amazing people.  We were just as comfortable there as we would have been at home, truly! 

This walk will help to keep the doors open to the many families, like us, that need a place to stay at the hospital while going through, and recovering from surgery.
