I'm walking for my sister, Kathy. She was diagnosed a year and a half ago with systemic Scleroderma. It's a rare auto-immune condition where the body produces collogen in excess. It's a very painful disorder. Her hands, feet, face, esophagus, and lungs are currently affected and she's in pain all the time. There is no cure, as a matter of fact, they don't know much about it. She's 48 and has the best attitude about people and living. She a free spirit. Kathy lives in Torrance and has a 10 year old daughter and husband. The doctors have given her 3-7 years.
