I'm an 11-year old Treeing Walker Coonhound who was adopted from Orphans of the Storm 9 years ago. They are a wonderful organization that took very good care of me before I found my forever home.  And now I'd like to do my part to help take care of them. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated as every dollar makes a difference in the lives of other dogs and cats who are waiting to find their forever homes. Info from Orphans: Orphans of the Storm is one of the country's largest animal shelters. Founded in 1928, we take in all stray, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats from the governmental agencies of northeastern Illinois. In the true spirit of an orphanage, no animal is turned away. We offer refuge and rehabilitation and adopt into warm and loving homes thousands of dogs and cats each year. We hope that once you get to know us, you'll support our cause by adopting from us and by spreading the word about all of the great pets available at Orphans of the Storm.
