Matt
PERMISSION TO CROSS POST THIS PAGE.
Matt was a healthy, happy little guy, until he started moping around. He had a discharge in his eyes and his foster mom suspected he was running a fever.
She was right, he had a fever of 103.5, and her vet told her Matt is at the beginning of becoming a herpes cat. When Matt came home from the shelter, he had a very bad upper respiratory infection and he later developed ulcers in his mouth.
He is currently on medication and will most likely be on some medications for the rest of his life. That could be a very long time since Matt is only 5 months old.
Maine Coon Rescue has a sponorship program for Special Needs cats. If you would like to sponsor Matt either on a monthly basis or with a one time donation to this site, that would be wonderful. If you would like to sponsor Matt on a monthly basis, please visit www.mainecoonrescue.net and fill out the sponsorship form.
