Hello Friends and Family,

Its been over 6 years since I received my kidney transplant, December 23, 2003.  I have come a long way since then and feel perfectly healthy now.  As you all know this has not always been the case.  I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from all of my friends and family on helping me get through such a tough time.  Having gone through so much I think its very important to make sure others have the opportunity to receive the gift of life as well.   I have the opportunity to participate in the 2010 U.S. Transplant Olympics, held July 30-Aug. 4 in Madison, WI.  This event is helps to provide awareness of how important organ donation is and also to honor those who have so generously donated and their families.  This will be my second time competing and feel with your help I can bring back a gold medal.  I will be competing in a number of events but my speciality is the Track and Field division, and my events are 100m, 50 yd dash, and the long jump.

In 2008 I brought home a silver medal in 3 on 3 basketball and two bronze medals in the 50 yd dash and the long jump.  This year I'm bringing home the gold.

Now all I need is your help to get me to Madison.  I will be competing with my team- TEAM NATION"S CAPITAL this year.  It costs about $2000.00 to send each athlete to the games and your donation is greatly needed.  We are a 501 (3) (c) charitable organization and any amount you give will be tax deductibleI am asking for your support in whatever way you can give it.  I appreciate any donation small or large.  As well do I welcome your emails cheering me on as I continue to prepare for the games.  We all now that these are very hard times and I truly am grateful for any support even if its simply passing this email on to a friend.

I must remind you that donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.  Also checks are welcomed too please make them payable to NKF National Capital/Team Nation's Captial and mail to my home address: 2152 Georgian Woods Pl., Wheaton, MD 20902.

Thanks for visiting my website and much love to you all.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to everyone who you think might want to donate too!
