After deliberating for 3 years, I have finally taken the plunge and registered to run a marathon.  While I can't even comprehend the distance or the idea of running for 4 (or more) hours, I am sure it will be a rewarding experience.  It doesn't only have to be a learning experience for me, you can be a part of this crazy journey too!  I will be running for Dignity and Respect which means that I will be raising money for Inspiration Corporation.  Most of you know what Inspiration Corp means to me in my life, but for those of you who don't, keep reading. 

As I was researching the Chicago Marathon, I stumbled upon the charity link and found myself sifting through many worthy candidates to raise money for.  When I found the Inspiration link I couldn't help but search through the whole website... including the current open positions.  As I read about the Milieu Manager position, I began seeing myself filling that position.  After some persistence I received an interview and was offered the position.  I now work there three days a week and am inspired on a daily business.  It seems like a perfect story to actually know and have relationship with the people who I am running for, and it is to me.
