For the first time, the 2007 Hartford Marathon will include a team from SRS!  Mrs. Chatterton and Miss Repass will be running the full 26.2 miles, but we need your help! We are forming a relay team of students, parents, and staff members to run with us.   

Here's how it works: Students who are interested in running will keep a running log from now until October 13th.  They will run 24 miles (1 mile at a time) over the next 6 weeks.  These runs will be done at home, during recess, or at our after school practices.  Each mile needs to be initialed by an adult. On race day students will run with a parent or staff member for one mile during the race. Everyone will also have the opportunity to run the final mile so we can cross the finish line together.  When it is all said and done the students will each have run a marathon!
