For the fourth straight year, the Hartford Marathon will include a team from SRS!  Mrs. Chatterton will be running the full 26.2 miles, but she needs your help! We are forming a relay team of students, parents, and staff members to run with her.   You only need to be able to run one mile to join our marathon team.

Here's how it works: Students will keep a running log from now until October 9th.  They will run 25 miles (1 mile at a time) over the next 4 weeks.  These runs will be done at home, during recess, or at our after school practices.  On race day students will run with a parent or staff member for one mile during the race. Everyone will also have the opportunity to run the final two tenths of a mile, so we can cross the finish line together.  When it is all said and done the students will each have run a marathon!
