Through the solar electrification of public rural facilities, SLA is able to foster economic development, increased educational opportunity, and improved healthcare. Through the solar electrification of rural villages and homes, SLA is able to empower Africa's poorest families for micro-enteprise and educational development. Through its annual youth and medical mission, SLA provides cross-cultural collaboration and promotes understanding between American and African youth and professionals.
