Dear Friends and Family,
I am running the Boston Marathon on April 18th, 2011, in support of the Melanoma Foundation of New England as a member of their Running for Cover Boston Team. I am running in memory of my brother Mickey Miller, who fought an incredibly brave battle with melanoma ten years ago. I can't think of a better way to honor Mickey's spirit and strong will than by supporting such a great organization. This will be my 16th marathon and I'm excited and honored to be part of the MFNE Boston team.
The Melanoma Foundation of New England is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of early detection and prevention, and helping patients and their caregivers cope with melanoma. My goal is to help spread the importance of early detection. I urge all of you to schedule regular skin checks by a dermatologist especially if you a have a family history of skin cancer like I do.
I would be grateful if you would consider supporting me in my goal of raising $3,500 for MFNE. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our team's fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you again!
