Ivy Street School Technology Matching Gift Challenge
The Ivy Street School is a residential therapeutic school for adolescents with brain injuries and other neurological problems. If we raise $20,000 the John Alden Trust has agreed to give us an additional $10,000 for educational technology for our classrooms! Here are some of the items on our wish list:
• 1 SMART Board with projector, wall mount, audio system, document camera, sound cable, and installation) = $7,200
• FM sound broadcast system for students with hearing loss = $2,650
• Adaptive reading, scanning and typing software = $2,000
• 4 iPads @ $500 each = $2,000, plus additional memory aids = $1,250
• 1 SMART document camera with projector and adjustable cart = $1,700
• 2 mounted projector screens for classrooms = $1,000
• 4 AlphaSmart keyboards = $700
