Thank  you for visiting our page. This year James Tharp, Shannon Pritchard, Breanna Bush, Saige Sandve and Manny Gonzalez will be jumping as part of Team Kairos during the 2012 Huron Polar Plunge.

Everyone deserves a chance at a happy and purposeful life. Yet people with intellectual disabilities face doubt, barriers, and low expectations.  Help transform lives through the joy of sport.

Our inspiration is a young boy here in Huron, a great athlete with a big smile, Chaz Pritchard. Chaz will be cheering on his mom Shannon from the side lines.

Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.

To reward your generosity, we are going to join many statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Polar Plunges for Special Olympics . I guess you could say that WE are “Freezin’ for a Reason”!
