This will be the third year I have participated in the Walk in memory of my wonderful mother, Barbara Galle Baptiste (1952-2006), who succumbed to Lung Cancer after a 9 month battle.

Last year, in the 10th year of the walk, my family and friends so generously donated $1475 to fund research for a cure at the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Cancer Center.

Thank you for honoring my mother and all of the other brave souls who have fallen victim to this dreadful disease.
