The Mission of the Spina Bifida Association of Washington is to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and to enhance the lives of all affected. The Association was founded in 1985 to address the specific needs of the Spina Bifida community.  The efforts of the SBAWS benefit thousands of infants, children, adults, parents and professionals each year.
