Dog Cancer Ride Across America

Dog Cancer Ride Across America

The Dog Cancer Ride Across America - Sponsors Page
4,281 miles -
102 days - to honor 1 amazing friend -
and save the lives of many more...

Hi Everyone,

In the summer of 2007 my dog and friend Marty (the Wonderdog) lost his life to cancer after an 18 month battle.

Still, I consider myself lucky.  Because when Marty was first diagnosed, the vets gave him 3 to 6 months to live, max.  But with lots of research, natural treatments and supplements, I got to keep him with me many times longer than anyone (but him and me) thought possible...

But that's not why I consider myself lucky...

I consider myself lucky because I was able to AFFORD all the care Marty needed to have a chance.

Today I run a dog cancer website that teaches dog owners what I learned and helps them care for their dogs with cancer.  But I get e-mail messages all the time (too many) from dog owners desperate to help their dog, but who just don't have the money to pay for their dog's treatments.

So last summer I decided to do something about it...

I created a charity fundraiser called the Dog Cancer Ride Across America - and rode my bicycle 4,281 miles over 102 days -
Pacific to Atlantic - to raise money for charities that help dog owners pay for their dog's cancer care.  On May 25th I left from the Oregon Coast (right toe in the Pacific) - and arrived in Virginia Beach, VA, to dip my left toe in the Atlantic on September 2nd..., shortly after the 1 year anniversary of Marty's death.

But to really help these dogs get the care they need, I need your help...

Won't you please help me with your tax deductible charity donation, so we can help these dogs get the care they deserve.

Here are some levels of sponsorship you may want to consider -

$35  - Your donation can help pay for a dog's supplements for a week - AND - reserves your space on the "Map of Heroes" where you can honor your dog (living or passed) with his picture and story

(Spaces on the Map of Heroes are limited and will be assigned on a "First Donated, First Served" basis.  To learn more about the Map of Heroes, visit www.MapOfHeroes.com)

                    ~                    ~                    ~                    ~

$55  - Helps pay for a critical dog cancer medicine prescription - AND - reserves your Premium Space on the Map of Heroes where you can honor your dog (living or passed) with a premium certificate, multiple pictures and a special premium page to share his story with the world

$100 - Pays for dogs vet visits and treatment plans - AND - makes you a Dog Cancer Ride "Route Sponsor" - Your dog (living or passed) will be honored with a Premium Page listing on the Map of Heroes route - and you'll receive special acknowledgment as I ride along your section of the route

(Sponsored Route sections are VERY limited and will be assigned on a "First Donated, First Served" basis.)

$250 - Helps pay for a critical dog cancer surgical procedures - AND - makes you and your dog "Patrons of the Ride".  In addition to your dog's space on the Map of Heroes, you will also be honored on the Patrons page to show the world how you and your dog are helping other dogs fight back against cancer

All tax-deductible donations to the Dog Cancer Ride Across America are managed by Giving Globally 501(c)(3) (an Oregon Based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) and will  be used to support the "Magic Bullet Fund," and the "Marty Miracle Fund" - each of which work to raise money to provide financial assistance to help dog owners who can't otherwise afford to pay for their dog's cancer care.

It's easy to sponsor me online - just click the purple "Sponsor Me Now" button to make a credit card donation.  It's simple, fast and totally secure.  And it's the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.  However, if you prefer to send a check, please make it payable to "Giving Globally - Dog Cancer Ride" and mail it to Giving Globally, 6443 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy, Suite 370, Portland, Oregon 97006.

That way we'll make sure it gets to the charities and the dogs who need it most.

Thanks for your support.  As much as I miss Marty and still feel his loss, I'm proud to know that his memory lives on through the dogs he helps to live longer, happier and healthier lives.

And please don't forget to forward this link (www.DogCancerRide.com) to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Warmest regards,

- Ted Schneck
In memory of Marty (the Wonderdog)

P.S.  Remember, no donation is too small and every donation will help a dog in need.  But for every donation of $35 or more yo
u'll reserve a space on the "Map of Heroes" for your dog (sick or healthy, living or passed) - where you can post his picture and share his story with the world.  $55 or more reserves a Premium Space for your dog on the Map of Heroes.  Plus, every donation of $100 or more will be a "Route Sponsor" and will be personally acknowledged and honored as I ride across that sponsored section of the route and donors of $250 or more will be "Patrons of the Ride" with special tributes throughout the entire ride.

Thank you for helping the dogs and for helping make this Dog Cancer Ride Across America a success.

Fund is a division of the Giving Globally, an Oregon based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Donations to the Marty Miracle Fund are tax deductible.)
