This year, a very dear friend of mine died from AIDS.  I've recently learned alot of dreadful facts about this disease:

-  In Africa, an entire generation is dying. Mothers. Fathers. Teachers. Farmers. Even pastors. Working men and women. Dead.

-  15 million children have been orphaned due to AIDS (That's around the same as the total number of high school students in the U.S.)

-  6,000 people die everyday of the disease.  

I have decided to do something about it.  Through Team World Vision, I am going to run for Jimmy and everyone else who has suffered or died from this terrible disease. 

I have never done anything like this before; however, I'm determined to make a difference.  Children whose lives are affected by AIDS need help.
