I have been involved with Special Olympics Florida for 2 1/2 years now, and have worked with individuals with special needs for nearly 10. What I love about Special Olympics is cheering on the athletes that really put everything they have into the competition. Special Olympics gives individuals with special needs the confidence to compete, the exercise to remain healthy, and teaches valued skills that extend out beyond sports. I will be plunging to raise money for all of my friends that participate in Special Olympics and I look forward to attending many more events in the future!
