A message from Maddie.....
Hi everyone, my name is Maddie and I was a PAWS pup. I was abandoned at just a few weeks old and Teri helped me find my foster mom, Jen, who took me in and gave me a home and lots of TLC and then Jen and her family totally fell in love with me and are keeping me forever! I am now 5 months old and living a great life. I just love my family (lots of people to give me belly rubs) and I love visting Aunt Teri because she spoils me to no end and she'll walk with me all day long!! I really want to thank the wonderful people at PAWS for taking me in and saving my life (who knows what would have happened to me on the streets?)..... and for helping me find my forever home. There are still so many dogs and cats at the shelter who really need your help and a home of their own. Won't you please open your heart (and your wallet) to help us?

Please join me and Maddie (yes, she's a PAWS baby) as we raise money to save Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and orphaned animals at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Receiving nearly 30,000 homeless, abandoned, and orphaned animals each year and seeing the highest volume of unwanted and unloved animals in the region, PAWS is working to end the killing of healthy and treatable pets in the City of Philadelphia.
On Saturday, October 25, we will participate in the PAWS Mutt Strut, which will bring 1,000 animal lovers and their pets together for a 1.5-mile walk through FDR Park. We will raise badly needed funds for PAWS’ lifesaving programs including adoption outreach, spay/neuter clinics, and low-cost vaccination services. We will also raise awareness of the harsh reality that thousands of healthy and treatable animals are killed in Philadelphia each year, simply because they do not have homes.
The Mutt Strut will offer us a day of companionship and celebration, and will enable PAWS to give countless more animals the chance to experience that companionship and safety for themselves. Please give whatever you can, and consider joining us on October 25!
If you would prefer to make a donation by check, please make checks payable to "PAWS". Of course, cash donations are always accepted!
Thanks again, Teri
