Why should YOU become a patron of Common Ground’s Art in the Park?
Because every single one of us has suffered some sort of crisis, maybe even more than one, at some point in our lives.
Art in the Park is Common Ground's premiere annual fundraising event. In its 34th year, Art in the Park will take place on September 13th and 14th this year at Shain Park in Birmingham.
As Oakland county's chief provider of crisis intervention services, Common Ground offers a wide array of services including a 24-hour telephone crisis hotline, a victim assistance program, temporary shelter for homeless and runaway youth, counseling programs for youth and their families, a free legal clinic consisting of volunteer attorneys who assist individuals with their legal concerns, street outreach, support groups, mental health screening, and transitional living programs that help youth and young adults to regain the skills needed to live independently.
Becoming a patron of Art in the Park will help to ensure that Common Ground's programs have the funding to continue offering the support and compassion that is needed when dealing with a crisis.
How do you become a patron? All you have to do is give. No amount is too small and all donations are tax deductible.
