Terri Rausch's Fundraising Page
Dear friends and family:
Thanks for visiting our page.
Did you know:
Neurofibromatosis (NF) affects three times as many people as muscular dystrophy and cystic fibrosis combined. NF is one of the most common genetic disorders in the United States.
What is Neurofibromatosis:
Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder of the nervous system which causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in the body at any time. This progressive disorder affects all races, all ethnic groups and both sexes equally.
The effects of NF are unpredictable and have varying manifestations and degrees of severity. There is no known cure for either form of NF.
Avery and I have NF2.
We have seen the devastation this disease can cause in people and we are fighting back to find a cure. We are walking and running and fundraising...Please help us if you are able.
· Donate to our cause.
· Walk or run with us and wear one of our lovely green shirts.
We will be at the Grand Rapids River Bank Run on Saturday May 8, the Dexter-Ann Arbor on Sunday June 6 (www.dexterannarborrun.com), and at the Detroit Marathon in October.
Consider donating to our cause today!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. But if you prefer to write a check please make it out to Neurofibromatosis, Inc. and put Team Rausch on the memo line. Give the check to me and I will handle it from there.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Love, Terri
