Terry and Maggie Sims's Fundraising Page
Hello friends.
It's time again for our Houston Ride for Kids. The Houston Ride for Kids event is an annual motorcycle ride raising money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
The photo that you see is Garrett Clark having fun at the Houston ride. Garrett is one of the many great brain tumor survivors, who is doing very well thanks to the research being done at Texas Childrens Hospital and MD Anderson. Research that is funded by our annual Ride for Kids event.
Our 2009 ride date is Sunday April 26th at the Humble Civic Center. We ride for the kids rain or shine. Last year our ride raised over $283,000 which goes directly to research.
We have made great progress in this terrible disease, but we still have much to accomplish. Brain tumors continue to be the #1 killer of children under the age of 20. These children and their families go through what no child or parent should ever have to endure.
Please help make a difference in the life of a child diagnosed with a brain tumor by making a donation for our much needed research. Donating through this site is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most effecient way to make a contribution to our fund raising efforts. Many thanks for your support, and don't forget to share this page with anyone who you think would like to donate too!! With your help we will find a cure for childhood brain tumors.
If you prefer you may mail your tax deductible check made payable to PBTF to 1901 Deer Valley Street, Deer Park, TX 77536.
