When you support The "I Have a Dream" Foundation- East Oakland you are supporting more than a "mentoring" or "after school program".  We make a lifetime commitment to our "Dreamers" by providing them with an intense program of academic, emotional and social support from elementary to high school and beyond.  Our motto is "Once a Dreamer, Always a Dreamer".   

Our program operates on our firm believe that ALL children, no matter their economic background, deserve the opportunity to be successful, healthy individuals.  We feel that with guidance, stability, support and HIGH EXPECTATIONS children from low income communities and low performing schools can and WILL perform at high levels.
