Hello, and thank you very much for coming to my fundraising page for National Novel Writing Month. This November, I will be joining 100,000 authors from around the world in the challenge of writing a book, from scratch, in the month of November. That's right. In one month, I will write  a 50,000 word novel. That's approximately 1,333 words each and every day.

It is going to be quite the busy month! As I write my novel, I will be raising money for the nonprofit Office of Letters and Light, whose programs, including National Novel Writing Month, have helped to inspire a life-long interest in writing in people of all ages.

If I am able to raise at least $200, I will be fortunate enough to attend the Officie of Letters and Lights' annual "Night of Writing Dangerously" event, where I and 199 fellow authors will come together for a group writing session where we can network, attend a lecture given by the man who started the National Novel Writing Month event, and, most importantly, get 5 more hours of writing under my belt.

Really, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for supporting me in my goal to complete a novel in just 30 days. The novel I write will be dedicated to each and every one of you. I will make you proud. I will conquer this challenge.
