This year, instead of just giving to the AIDS Walk, I decided that I would actually walk and ask others for money as well! I've been meaning to be a more active force for good in my community so I'm stepping up my efforts.

There are lots of reasons you should donate to the AIDS Walk:

1) I'm going to be exercising! In public! Can you believe it?!

2) My team is called the Rainbow Brites. Tee hee!

3) The AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City does a lot of awesome stuff with this money to help the over 5,000 people in our community living with HIV/AIDS. They give money to the KC Free Health Clinic, SAVE Inc, the Good Samaritan Project, and a bunch of other organizations that provide health care and emergency services for people living with HIV/AIDS, support for the families of people with HIV/AIDS, and education to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.

4) If I surpass my goal, I will go buy one of those rainbow clown wigs and wear it for the entire walk.
