The LAB Ride is a 34.7 mile bike ride along the San Francisco Bay to raise funds to fight Ocular Melanoma and to spread awareness about the disease. This is a “fun ride” intended for riders of all skill levels. Some of the highlights include: sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline, a cycle over the world famous Golden Gate Bridge and a ride through beautiful Marin County. If 34 miles sounds a bit too much, then simply ride to the turn around point and jump on the ferry back to San Francisco. Or ride to when you feel you’ve had enough and turn back. It’s really that easy.
Riders will receive refreshments at the turn around point, emergency support throughout the ride and a BBQ lunch at the end of the ride. If you are traveling to San Francisco and need a bike, please send us an email and we will help with arrangements.
The BBQ following the ride will be held from post ride (usually between 11:30-12:00) and 3:00 pm. Food will be served and any sponsors are welcome to join in the post ride fun.
