Hi, Friends!  Its that time of year again...POLAR PLUNGE TIME!  Although with this weather it may be more just...plunging :)  In the last few years my family and I have reached out to many of you and have asked for contributions to the Special Olympics athletes that are so dear to us.  As many of you know, my little sister, Natty, is an athlete.  And as you know, she won't be able to jump yet again this year.  She is undergoing Chemotherapy to get that nasty cancer yet again.  It has been a very tough road, but she's a fighter...She won't back down!  I am asking again this year that you find it in your hearts (and your wallets:) ) to support this fabulous cause.  I can't jump because I'm pregnant...although that wouldn't stop me if my mom wouldn't beat me :)  I will be participating in the "too chicken to plunge" category.  My husband, Mike, has no choice.  He's gotta do it :)  Our daughter, Abbie, (3) will be jumping in the kiddie plunge!  We need money in order to do that.  This is a great opportunity to donate to a charity that is otherwise disregarded by many.  Its an opportunity to help these guys get to tournaments, have uniforms that fit and aren't 20 years old (seriously...some teams can't afford the gear they need and are using ridiculously old stuff--its sad) Its an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those you otherwise may not know or have a change to help.  I will be taking donations at my salon (300 N Dakota Ave, Suite 201) in Sioux Falls.  You can also mail a check to our home 1432 S Olive Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57103 or donate on our secure Firstgiving page.  Even if you only have a few dollars...any amount helps these guys!  I cannot thank you enough.  Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU!
