Emily Smith - Our Inspiration and Our Hero!
October 11, 2009, we will join hundreds of others to help end the devastating effects of Juvenile Myositis by running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! By making a donation on our behalf, you are supporting research and local services to those affected with this devastating childhood disease.
Our number one reason and motivation for joining this marathon and fundraising adventure is Emily Smith.
In case you don't know Emily...which most of us probably do...Emily is a child who brings great joy to others...simply by being herself.
Emily is truly, TRULY one of a kind! She's an intelligent young lady who is witty and fun! She loves a good time and speaks what's on her mind...which makes most of us adults look like we should be the ones attending school!
Because of Emily’s determination to help find a cure (and maybe even some begging with her puppy dog eyes), Team Emily was formed!!!! It’s been a delightful, life-changing experience on many levels for us.
