Terre Haute Humane Society Telethon on WTWO!

Linda- now known as Grace, was brought to our shelter severely injured and blinded in her left eye, as she had been used as a "bait" dog by a dogfighter.  We recently received a letter about Grace.  Only a few years ago, a dog like Grace would have been put down due to her severe injuries, now she gets to listen to bedtime stories. (See pictures on left). 

Here is a quote from the email received:  "Liv has taken to holding her Pooh bear in one arm and Gracie's ear in her other hand...it's our ritual now, and Gracie appears to be thrilled with it as well...thanks again for the opportunity of her...Gracie certainly has "Graced" our lives already, and in so many ways!
