My longtime friend, Jason Welch, is the Chair-Elect for the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of South Florida. Junior Achievement is having their annual bowl-a-thon soon and Jason asked me to join his team. Yes, this is going to be interesting!
Obviously from our team name, “Gutter Loves” we’re not in this to win, but rather to raise a few bucks for this amazing non-profit with which Jason and I have been involved for a number of years.
Junior Achievement will use the money we raise through this bowl-a-thon to help them support the operational expenses of running the largest "JA World" in the World, recently built right here in South Florida. Through experiential learning, JA World will educate 50,000+ 5th and 8th graders every year on the world of work, free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
