Scheduled each May to coincide with National Police Week, the Police Unity Tour is a long distance bicycle ride from New York City to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC. The Police Unity Tour raises funds for the Memorial and honors the memory of law enforcement officers that have died in the line of duty. Over 700 Police Officers from across the country are expected to participate and each is required to raise a minimum of $1,800. All personal expenses such as transportation, equipment, uniforms and application fees are the responsibility of the individual participant.
